Jerry Lawler is an American color commentator and retired professional wrestler who is best known for his long-term association with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.) both as a wrestler and later as a commentator. Before joining WWE in 1992, he had won numerous championships including the AWA (American Wrestling Association) World Heavyweight Championship (once) and the WCWA (World Class Wrestling Association) World Heavyweight Championship (thrice). He had later unified the titles, forming the USWA (United States Wrestling Association) Unified World Heavyweight Championship, a title that he held 28 times. As of May 2026, he had held more recognized championships than any other professional wrestler in history. He was inducted into the ‘WWE Hall of Fame’ in 2007.

January 10, 1972) (Professional Wrestler) and Kevin Lawler (Wrestling Referee, Professional Wrestler). The couple got divorced in 1978. Through Brian, he has a grandson named Blake Lawler. Brian had committed suicide on July 29, 2018, by hanging in a cell at the Hardeman County Jail in Whiteville, Tennessee.
- Paula Jean Carruth (1982–1991) – Jerry had married Paula Jean Carruth on February 14, 1982. The couple had split in October 1991.
- Stacy Carter (1989–2003) – Jerry had met professional wrestling valet and professional wrestler Stacy ‘The Kat’ Carter at a charity softball game in Memphis, in July 1989, and they started dating soon after. They got married on September 29, 2000. In February 2001, Stacy was released by the World Wrestling Federation after which Jerry had left the company in protest.
